Weddings at Drumtochty Castle with Thistle Piping......

Getting married at Drumtochty Castle?  I am delighted to be Drumtochty Castle's regular piping service, so much so that I have developed an itinerary

specifically for the venue.  You can choose from many options detailed below.....

St Palladius

Pictured left is the beautiful St Palladius Church.  Imagine the piper playing here for 30 minutes

prior to the start time of your ceremony to welcome the guests, Bridal Party and of course the

arrival of the Bride.   After the ceremony, you will be piped for in the ground of St Palladius before

commencing the short journey up to the castle.

In the summer time guests may choose to make the short journey to the castle on foot, the sound

of the pipes can be heard all around Drumtochty Glen. You could even choose to have 2, 3 or 4

pipers playing at the church the choice is entirely yours.

 

 

 

Drumtochty Castle

Picutured here is the breathtaking Drumtochty Castle.  Imagine the piper playing for your

arrival here - from the Battlements above the main doorway!!    At Drumtochty Castle this is

exactly what happens as the congregation are greeted by the sound of the pipes high in the

air.  Intermittent music will be provided throughout the afternoon photographs before you

are finally piped in for Dinner to the applause of your upstanding guests.

You can also choose to have multiple pipers at the Castle to greet you, or even a mini-band

or a full pipe band to be playing on arrival or later in the evening.  You can discuss your

arrangements with me and tailor your needs to suit exactly the atmosphere you wish to create.
