The above packages are general outlines to a traditional intinerary for your piper.  Please feel free to suggest your own itinerary and I will provide a tailored

quotation for your own needs.

You should also consider if you would like the Scottish Small Pipes as part of your day.  The Scottish Small Pipes have a very different sound to the Highland

Pipes.  They are much softer and richer in sound, like they have come straight from the soundtrack of the movie "Braveheart".  They offer a celtic

alternative for walking down the aisle or for any intimate moments you have planned for your day such as signing the register or as background music for

a small gathering.   At Thistle Piping we can also offer the Scottish Small Pipes with a Guitar backing.  This combination offers an enchanting sound which

Other Options to consider when arranging your piping is what sort of attire you would like your piper to be wearing.  All pipers have a standard uniform known

as "Day wear" or "Number 2 dress", but at Thistle Piping we can offer pipers in "Full Highland Dress" or "Number 1 dress".  For more information on these

Finally you should also consider if you are looking for 1 x solo piper to play at your wedding or if you want to add something a little more special by perhaps having

2 pipers, or 3, or 4....... You could have a Mini-Band consisting of Pipers & Drummers or indeed you could have a FULL PIPE BAND!   You may wish to have your

solo piper for the full day package and then a Full Band come and perform at night.   You may decide to have 4 pipers at the Church and then a Mini-Band greet

you at the reception venue.... the choices are endless and the packages will be tailored to suit exactly what you want.
